Describe what you do at Lovepop.
I'm a graphic designer, which entails a lot of different things such as: designing consumer emails, creating marketing materials like ads, developing templates, drawing and animation, etc.
What's the best thing about your job?
Working with wonderful and creative people on products that bring happiness to others.
Out of our 4 core values (engineering, hunger, magic, connection), which one describes you best and why?
Magic, as my job entails me thinking outside the box and bringing ideas to life.
What is your favorite Lovepop card?
I suppose I'm a bit biased, since I worked on the development of the sculpture, but I'm a big fan of the Cherry Blossom card.
If you could do another job for just one day, what would it be?
It'd be cool to work on a video game, especially as a character designer or illustrator.
What do you like doing outside of work?
Recently Japanese-to-English translation has been something I've been doing a lot of.
If you had to eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?
I'm very proud of my beef curry rice and wouldn't mind eating that forever.
What is your go-to karaoke song?
I generally only listen to instrumental/background music, but I can do the YMCA if necessary.
Is there anything else you'd like the world to know about you?
I'm told I do a good impression of Mickey Mouse.
